A telephone conversation took place between the presidents of Turkey and Kazakhstan, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The parties discussed the situation in the republic.
”During a telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Tokayev, President Erdogan said that Ankara is closely following the events in Kazakhstan and stands by Kazakhstan," the Anadolu Agency reports.
Erdogan also expressed the hope that a new government will be formed as soon as possible, and that tensions in the country will decrease.
