The house-museum of famous theater director Yevgeny Vakhtangov, who was born, grew up and began his career in Vladikavkaz, will be opened in North Ossetia, director and artistic director of the Vakhtangov Academic Russian Theater in Vladikavkaz, Vladimir Uvarov, said.
According to him, the idea of creating a house, which also belongs to the director of Moscow’s Vakhtangov Theater, Kirill Krok, appeared a long time ago. ”We finally moved forward. We went to the head of the republic, Bitarov, who supported this idea," Uvarov said, noting that the implementation of the project will begin after approval by the Russian Ministry of Finance.
Earlier it was reported that this issue was discussed by the head of North Ossetia, Vyacheslav Bitarov, and Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets.
