Yesterday at the Moscow 'Worker and Collective Farmer' exhibition center, a three-day exhibition 'Alanika. Method of the Experiment' opened, organized by the North Caucasus branch of the State Center for Contemporary Art in the framework of the Sixth Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art. The exhibition presents the results of a nine-year work of the symposium 'Alanika' in Vladikavkaz, the goal of which is a dialogue of artists, critics and audiences on contemporary art and the transformation of their world perception.

Modern sub-genres of art, which include workshops, master classes and performances, allow the exhibition to turn from a contemplative to an interactive, educational event. Artists from different countries, directions and times exchange their experiences and ideas here, thanks to which 'Alanika' is also a school of modern art, created here and now.

At the 'Worker and Collective Farmer' center Moscow visitors can see a huge collection of works that have never left North Ossetia – the best works and the most unexpected results of the symposium. The choice of location is not accidental: the sculpture made by Vera Mukhina was also an experiment that was ahead of its time.

Among the participants of the exhbition are the Ossetian painters Alisa Gokoeva, Kazbek Tadeev and Stas Harin, Dagestani masters Timur Musaev-Kagan, Taus Mahacheva and Aladdin Garunov, Chechen experimenter Aslan Gaisumov, Sabina Shikhlinskaya and Nazrin Mammadova from Azerbaijan, the 'Bouillon' group and Anna Ryaboshenko from Georgia, Ferhat Ozgur, Yeshim Aga oglu and Elmaz Denise from Turkey, Homayon Sirizy from Iran and many other figures of contemporary art from Russia and other countries.
