The leadership of the Azerbaijani football club Neftchi intends to keep its captain Emin Mahmudov in the team.
According to local media, the 31-year-old midfielder was recently offered a new three-year contract, under which he may earn $350,000 (about 600,000 manats) annually.
The midfielder is in no hurry to renew the agreement. His desire to play abroad has been previously reported, so he is expected to consider offers from other teams this summer.
In the current season, Mahmudov played 27 matches for FC Neftchi in the Azerbaijani championship, scoring 14 goals in total.
