The Commission of the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) has arrived in Sochi, it will check the progress of preparations in the resort city for the 2018 World Cup, the press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of Krasnodar Territory reported.
Members of the commission were met by the vice-governor of Krasnodar Territory, Nikolai Doluda, who greeted them on behalf of the head of the region, Veniamin Kondratiev. "This is the third official visit of FIFA inspectors to Sochi. Seven months have passed since the previous visit. We understood the comments made during the second inspection visit, and have worked on resolving these problems," Interfax quotes him as saying.
