Let us remind you that in February 2022, FIFA and UEFA suspended Russian clubs and national teams from participating in international competitions due to the situation in Ukraine.
At the end of 2023, the RFU decided not to join the Asian Confederation, since it did not receive guarantees from FIFA. The organization intends to continue making efforts to return to UEFA.
