France is ready to de-escalate tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said.
"Our view as France is to try to de-escalate the pressure," Reuters cited him as saying.
Tomorrow he will visit Riyadh to meet with King Salman and other officials, TASS reports.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is due to visit Paris next week to hold talks with French President Francois Hollande.
