Fans' House in Baku completes its work

The Fans' House, created for the First European Games in Baku, has completed its work. During the 17 days of competition it was visited by over 10 thousand guests.

"The idea of ​​creating a joint Fans' House of Russia and Azerbaijan was very interesting. The House quickly became the one of the attractions of the Games and was popular among the residents of Baku and among the guests of the Games," the Russian Olympic Committee’s president Alexander Zhukov said.

The Fans' House in Baku has received high marks from many officials. State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin noted the high quality of design and informative presentation of the exhibition. The Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister, Azad Rahimov, strongly supported the idea of ​​uniting fans of Russia and Azerbaijan, and the Vice President of the Azerbaijani National Olympic Committee, Chingiz Huseynzadeh, called the Fans' House in Baku "a really important project for those who love sports and for those who appreciate the friendship of our countries."

The Fans' House in Baku was visited by many outstanding athletes during the First European Games, including the first Azerbaijani Olympic winner in judo, Nazim Huseynov, the five-time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming, Anastasia Davydova, and the nine-time Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics, Larisa Latynina.
