About 150 productive leisure lovers will take part in the inter-regional sports and tourist mountain pass via the Epchik pass in Karachaevo-Cherkessia. The event will be held on August 27.
The pass entitled ‘Forward, to the heights’ is one of the popular and mass events in the republic. "We hold it for the fourth time, it is very popular among the residents and guests of the republic," the head of the Physical Education and Sports Department of the Ministry of Sport of Karachaevo-Cherkessia, Rustam Djatdoev said. "This is one of our events to revive the traditions of sports tourism and popularize a healthy lifestyle," TASS quotes him as saying.
