The funeral of People's Artist of the USSR Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, who passed away today aged 85, will be held in an open format, the official representative of the actor and his friend Artur Soghomonyan informed.
”The farewell ceremony will be open. But with all precautions taken," TASS quotes him as saying.
Soghomonyan urged the actor’s fans to wear face masks at the ceremony.
It is reported that the funeral is scheduled for November 17. According to the preliminary information, Dzhigarkhanyan will be buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery, next to his daughter, but the issue has not been decided yet.
