An exhibition project ‘Meeting’, dedicated to the anniversary of Farhad Khalilov, People's Artist of Azerbaijan and the chairman of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, was opened today within the framework of the Museum of the East at VDNKh in Moscow
The guests of the event were welcomed by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation, the famous composer and singer Polad Bulbuloglu.
The diplomat expressed his gratitude to the Museum of the East and its director Alexander Sedov, ‘’who is really doing a lot to strengthen our [Russian-Azerbaijani – Vestnik Kavkaza] relations, and to promote the creativity of Azerbaijani artists in the Russian capital, Moscow."
"It is, indeed, not the first, and I'm sure not the last exhibition, not the last work in which we are working together and doing everything so that Muscovites can learn even more, even deeper about the creativity of Azerbaijani artists. And as a man of culture, and as an ambassador, I am very happy that our relations continue to grow stronger and develop not only in politics, not only in economics, but also in culture. They have always been at a high level, but today they have become even stronger, deeper, wider.
