The head of the Federal Agency for the Affairs of Nationalities, Igor Barinov, spoke today about the need to finalize the federal target program on Nationalities policy. The announcement was made on the sidelines of the Interregional Forum of the Popular Front in Stavropol.
‘‘We should be objective. The current Federal Target Program (FTP), our main instrument in this area, does not solve all the issues in full measure, which is why we have an initiative to create and develop a state program that contains all international and inter-religious aspects, as the goal cannot be achieved with the help of the Federal Target Program," Tass cites him as saying.
