Lukoil is ready to invest in Iran fields as much as it invested in Iraq, the Vice President of Lukoil Leonid Fedun said.
He said that Lukoil looks "at this region the same way as at Iraq", the company is successful there and has many projects. " Iran has the same system and same provinces. There is a whole range of deposits which we know well," the businessman said.
This year’s spending in Iraq is expected at $500 million, while compensations may reach about $1.5 billion," Interfax cited Fedun as saying.
