The Kazakhstan CEC Chairman Kuandyk Turgankulov has announced the preliminary data about the final voter turnout in early elections to the Majilis (Lower House of the Parliament) and maslikhats (local authorities).
"As of 08:00 PM (17:00 MSK) on March 20th, 77.1% of the total number of voters included in the lists received ballots, according to preliminary data,"the chairman of the CEC said at the briefing.
Recall that during the last elections to the Majilis, as well as early elections, the turnout was 75.45%.
