A fire at Domodedovo airport has been completely extinguished, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said.
No victims were reported, but more than 3000 people were evacuated from the airport. The Emergencies Ministry said that cables caught fire in the airport’s baggage department, covering an area of about 20 square meters. Currently, the emergencies ministry is clearing smoke.
The ministry noted that all arriving planes are landing without delays, but departing flights are delayed.
