On Tuesday, July 12, a fire broke out in a residential building in the center of Tbilisi.
The fire broke out on the third floor of a building on Tamar Mepe Avenue. The fire quickly spread to several apartments because of wooden partitions.
According to the head of Didube administration Vladimir Dzneladze, all residents of the house had to be evacuated due to heavy smoke. According to preliminary information, one person was injured in the fire. The man broke his leg after jumping off the second floor in a panic.
The cause of the fire will be established during the examination, Sputnik Georgia reports.
