On Friday, April 7, the first charter flight since 2021 will fly from Moscow's Vnukovo Airport to Istanbul: it will be operated by the Turkish airline Tailwind Airlines, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reported today.

This is a new airline for the Russian market, and for the airline itself, this is the first flight from Russia. It is known that blocks of seats on its flights have been divided between two large Russian tour operators, whose names the Association still keeps secret, RIA Novosti reports.

At first, flights from Moscow will depart twice a week, but over time, their number will increase to five times a week. Next winter, the company's aircraft will fly to Istanbul daily, and in 2024, Turkish aviators will also start operating charter flights to Antalya.

It is known that the price of a tour package to Istanbul for six nights with a departure on April 14 starts from 82 thousand rubles for two with accommodation in a three-star hotel with breakfast.

Let us remind you that the last time charter flights from Moscow to Istanbul departed in 2021.
