Russian Greco-Roman wrestlers, freestyle restlers and women confidently reached the finals of the ‘Alrosa’ Intercontinental Cup 2016, kicked off today in Moscow. The event is attended by around 170 athletes under 23 years old from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Turkey, Iran and Uzbekistan.
The Russian national team the only one of all the contestants defeated rivals in all three categories.
The Russian wrestlers won all the matches in men’s Greko-Roman, by defeating the teams of Uzbekistan (6: 0) and Iran (6: 0).

Tomorrow, the finals and demonstrations will be held. The final day of the competitions will end with an awarding ceremony. It starts at 19:00 (MSK).
