President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of Nakhchivan Solar Power Plant in the Babek district yesterday.
There are 78,684 glass solar panels and 11 electric power substation at the station. Nakhchivan Solar Power Plant will produce more than 30 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, abc.az reports.
Ilham Aliyev also attended the opening of Nakhchivan Industrial Complex in the Kangarli region.
