A resident of the Simferopol region of Crimea will spend the next four years in prison for growing cannabis due to the verdict of a local court, the press service of the republican prosecutor's office reported.
"The court recognized it as illegal sale, illegal acquisition and storage without a sale of plant parts containing large-scale narcotic drugs," the statement reads.
It is specified that the sentence has not yet entered into legal force.
