An agreement on cooperation between the Foreign Intelligence Services of Russia and Azerbaijan was signed in Baku on Tuesday, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service's Director Sergey Naryshkin said in an interview with journalists.
According to him, this is a basic document that will give an additional impetus to the bilateral relations development.
Naryshkin noted that the Foreign Intelligence Services' plans include joint actions "to help protect the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two states, combat international terrorism and radical extremism, protect the interests of Foreign Agencies and citizens of Russia and Azerbaijan in third countries".
