The fire in the Yalta mountain forest reserve in the Uch-Kosh gorge has been extinguished, the press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Crimea reports.
"The fire was extinguished at 14.00, its area was 1.2 hectares," RIA Novosti cites the message of the ministry.
The fire in the forest in the area of the Uch-Kosh gorge (Vasilievka village) broke out yesterday, the photographs of smoke from the city were published in the social network by the inhabitants of Yalta. In the extinguishment of the fire participated foresters and fire reserves (up to 100 people), as well as the EMERCOM helicopter.
