Forest fire kills three people in western Türkiye

According to the Turkish media, a forest fire in western Türkiye has killed at least three people.

The fire occurred in a forest located in the province of Izmir. The fire spreads quickly due to strong winds. As a result, a number of houses in the Delikli Koy area had to be evacuated.

Currently, 2 aircraft and 4 helicopters are involved in extinguishing the fire.

According to the TRT Haber TV channel, the gendarmes managed to save a woman and two children who were in close proximity to the fire.
