Exercises for the prevention of forest fires will be held in 22 forest districts of Dagestan until the end of April.
They will be attended by more than 300 people: employees, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, volunteers and school forestry units. Such exercises have already been held in Buynaksk.
"These activities are carried out due to the fact that a number of incidents of dried grass burning near the forest increased in the region," RIA Dagestan cited the press service of the Dagestani committee for forest economy as saying.
