Former mayor of Hrazdan Aram Danielyan has been charged with embezzlement of property in especially large amounts, head of Investigative Committee’s public relations department Naira Harutyunyan said.
Danielyan has been charged under the Article 179 Part 3 with embezzlement of property in especially large amounts.
"As a preventive measure signature bond on not leaving the country has been applied," Aysor cited Harutyunyan as saying.
The head of Investigative Committee’s public relations department added that there are another 8 suspects in the case charged under the same article.
Danileyan was arrested on February 26 for big amount of appropriations and groundless spending during his tenure in office from 2015-2018
The ex-mayor of Hrazdan pleaded guilty, restored the whole damage to the state and was released.
