Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev appointed the former Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov to the post of ambassador to the Great Britain, the presidential press-service said.
Idrissov has been serving as a foreign minister since 2012. On Dec. 28 he was relieved of his post and Kairat Abdrakhmanov became a new foreign minister.
Abdrakhmanov previously served as permanent representative of Kazakhstan to the UN, Trend recalls.
