Farid Niyazov was appointed the Chief of Staff of the President's Office. The relevant decree was signed by President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, the press service of the head of state reports.
Prior to his appointment, Niyazov served as the Advisor to the President.
Niyazov, who previously worked in the press service of the government, a journalist in the Kyrgyz representative of the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper and correspondent for the Russian edition of Kommersant in Kyrgyzstan, replaced Temir Dzhumakadyrov.
Dzhumakadyrov was appointed the Secretary of Defense Council again. “National security is of particular importance at current stage of development of the country,” the President said.
