According to Reuters, the Malaysian authorities have confirmed that the fragment of the airplane wing found on the island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean belongs to the missing Malaysian Boeing aircraft.
"We know that it has been confirmed that the discovered flaperon belonged to the missing Boeing,’’ the Minister of Transport of Malaysia, Tiong Lai Liou, said, BBC reports.
According to him, this was confirmed by French experts, who received a fragment of the wing for examination.
