In France, the emergency situation regime, which was introduced after the terrorist attacks in Paris, will be extended for another three months, this decision was adopted today by the Senate of France.
According to the Minister of Internal Affairs Bernard Cazeneuve, the emergency situation regime cannot be endless, so his department is already working on measures to return to a normal regime.
The opposition forces of France are criticizing the extension of the emergency situation regime because, in their view, a further tightening of the security regime, which restricts the rights of citizens and public freedoms, is unreasonable and impractical, TASS reports.
