Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili accused the European Parliament of double standards considering a "foreign influence agents" bill.

"Our people see and will see even better in the future, that anything we do or intend to do, everything is in line with the established world practice and trends, under development in the world and whole Europe," he said, adding that the Georgian authorities will closely study the developments and then will make assessments.

Earlier, the West ad the Georgian opposition reacted strongly to the approval of the bill submitted by the People's Power Party.
