A gas pipeline fire in the Sangachal settlement of Azerbaijan’s Garadagh district was extinguished, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.
“SOCAR transferred the gas to an alternative pipeline. The fire units were at the scene until the fire is extinguished. No one was injured. The operation has ended at 00.58 am local time,” APA cited the statement as saying.
SOCAR reported that no one was injured and no settlements are under threat as a result of accident.
