From August 1, Russia will return to the ban on fuel exports. The Federal Antimonopoly Service considers the continuation of the restriction to be appropriate.

"FAS Russia supports a return to the ban on gasoline exports from August 1, 2024. A temporary export permit has been introduced until the end of July. At the moment, the extension of this measure is not discussed",

the FAS said.

The situation on the fuel market within Russia will be monitored. Restrictions on exports will stabilize prices and satisfy increased demand, the report says.
