Gazprom still continues to hope for the resumption of negotiations on the construction of the Turkish Stream pipeline, the member of the Board of Gazprom, Oleg Aksyutin, said.
"The terms of the implementation of the Turkish Stream project will be determined after the normalization of Russian-Turkish relations before the signing of intergovernmental agreements between our countries," Gazeta.ru cited him as saying.
Aksyutin stressed that this project will strengthen the European position of Gazprom, as well as reduce transit risks of gas supplies to the EU.
