Georgia-Belarus sign deal to exchange and protect classified information

Georgian and Belarus state security structures have signed an agreement to exchange classified information and create a legal base to jointly protect data, Agenda.ge reported.

Georgia’s State Security Service (SSS) press office statement reads that the agreement will promote mutual cooperation in state security and law enforcement agencies, as well as in foreign relations.

 From Georgia the agreement was signed by the SSS head Vakhtang Gomelauri and from Belarus by the chairperson of the country’s State Security Committee Valery Vakulchik.
