Georgia and Turkey have successfully completed negotiations on the liberalization of tariffs for agricultural products, the press service of the Georgian Ministry of Economy reports.
The countries are important trading partners, and there is a free trade agreement between them.
According to the press service, Georgia and Turkey agreed on products that will be added to the list of goods for which reduced tariffs are already in effect. These include honey, fruit juices, jams, canned food, dried fruits, green tea and other agricultural products, the import of which will be subject to the free trade agreement.
