The Georgian Ministry of Health, Labor, and Social Affairs plans to reform primary healthcare, the head of the ministry David Sergeyenko said at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, which hosted a conference on the Hepatitis C Elimination Program.
According to Sergeyenko, together with the Universal Healthcare and Hepatitis C elimination programs, the ministry plans to focus on improving primary healthcare.
"Our first step was to develop the Universal Healthcare and Hepatitis C Elimination programs. At this stage, I can tell you that one of the main goals is to improve primary healthcare,” Georgia Online cited Sergeyenko as saying.
