The foreign trade turnover of Georgia dropped by 24% in January in comparison with the same period of 2015, amounting to 528 million dollars, according to the information of the National Statistics Office of Georgia 'Geostat'.
Exports dropped by 22% and amounted to $122 million, while imports dropped by 25% and amounted to $406 million.
As a result, the negative trade balance of Georgia has reached $238 million, or 54% of the total foreign trade turnover, Sputnik-Georgia reports.
