A Georgian parliamentary delegation, led by Vice Parliament Speaker Tamar Chugoshvili, completed its visit to the United States.
The delegation held meetings with co-chair at the House Democracy Partnership, David Price, co-chairs of the Congressional Georgia Caucus Gerald Connolly and Adam Kinzinger, as well as several newly elected members of the congress from both parties.
Chugoshvili stressed that Georgia enjoys the unconditional support of U.S. lawmakers.
Connolly, in turn, said that the Georgian parliament respects opposition forces, which, according to him, are the cornerstone of democracy, Georgia Online reports.
