The Deputy State Minister on Diaspora Issues, Sandro Bregadze, has resigned.
"The State Minister for Diaspora Issues, Gela Dumbadze, satisfied the resignation request of the Deputy State Minister on Diaspora Issues, Sandro Bregadze," the press service of the State Minister said.
Sandro Bregadze had served as the deputy minister for Diaspora Issues since October 1, 2014, Sputnik reminds Georgia. According to media reports, the resignation is due to his position on same-sex marriage in Georgia.
