The traffic on the the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars section of the Georgian Military Road was closed due to heavy snow and increased avalanche danger, the Department of Highways of Georgia said.
"The movement of vehicles on the Aragvispiri-Gudauri-Lars section of the Georgian Military Road is prohibited for vehicles with trailers, semitrailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats," Interfax-Azerbaijan cited the statement as saying.
Also buses must not stop in the Daryal Gorge (134th-135th kilometers section).
