Georgian and Armenian PMs discussed issues of cooperation

Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan and Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili had a face-to-face meeting in Yerevan today.

During the talks the sides discussed deepening trade and economic ties between the countries and giving a new impetus to the already existing relations, according to a message published on the website of the Armenian government.

The political and trade-economic cooperation are among the main issues the Georgian and Armenian officials will be discussing at various meetings today, Agenda.ge reported.

Kvirikashvili recalled that this year the both countries are celebrating the 100th anniversary since gaining independence from Russia in 1918.

Georgia's PM has also scheduled a meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
