The polls released by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and CRRC Georgia says that the majority of Georgian citizens (59% of survey respondents) think that Bidzina Ivanishvili is the main decision-maker for all government activities.
19% of the surveyed people believe that Ivanishvili does not take such decisions,” NDI reported.
For 56% it is desirable that Ivanishvili does not take any political decisions, while 7% want him to to take such decisions, but does not occupy any posts. For 21% it would have been preferable if he takes political decisions and keeps an official post.
The results reflect data collected from June 18 to July 9. The average margin of error is +/- 2,2 percent.
