Five Georgian soldiers have received minor injuries after terrorists attacked the Bagram airfield in Afghanistan, Georgian Defence Ministry has reported.
According to the ministry, Georgian soldiers from the 12th battalion - Gocha Muradashvili, Soso Kvinikadze, Roman Giunashvili, Ilia Takadze and David Bakhurauli have received minor injuries and there was no need of their taking to hospital.
"They continue participation in the anti-terrorist operation," Agenda.ge cited the ministry as saying.
The Resolute Support mission currently consists of more than 16,000 troops from 39 NATO Allies and partners, including 870 soldiers from Georgia.
