Georgian freestyle wrestler Geno Petriashvili (-125 kg) has won a gold medal at the European Championship, held in Riga. In the final, he defeated Poland's Robert Baran, winning 11: 0.
This is the second medal at the continental championships to be won by Petriashvili. In 2013, in Tbilisi, he won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 120 kg.
In the medal total, Georgian wrestlers took second place, second only to the Russian team, Sputnik Georgia writes.
