The State Audit Service of Georgia summoned 14 people to get explanations about the sums of their donations to the ruling party Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia and the opposition party European Georgia - Movement for Freedom. Their names are not disclosed.
The head of the Financial Monitoring Service of Political Parties of the State Audit Service, Zurab Aznaurashvili, said that the agency analyzed the information about monthly salaries and income provided by them. "In our opinion, it was difficult to make such donations,” Sputnik-Georgia quotes him as saying.
