Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel congratulates Giorgi Gakharia on his appointment to the post of Prime Minister of Georgia, InterPressNews reports.
In the letter of congratulation, Chancellor Merkel emphasized the positive dynamics of development of relations between the two countries and expressed readiness to support Georgia's further development in the future.
"I am pleased that relations between our countries are constantly evolving. This is about result-oriented cooperation within the framework of the Eastern Partnership and the NATO-Georgia Commission, as well as our diversified bilateral relations. Germany is ready to support the further development of Georgia's democratic and legal structures.
