The future of Syrian President Bashar Assad and other Syrian internal issues should be discussed at the peace talks in Kazakh city of Astana, the German Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Schaefer said Monday.
However, Schaefer noted that he doesn't believe Bashar Assad can continue as Syria's leader under a future peace agreement, the Daily Mail reports.
