German Foreign Ministry: Russia, Iran and Turkey unlikely to resolve Syrian crisis without West

The official representative of the German Foreign Ministry, Martin Schaefer, commented on the settlement of the Syrian crisis.

He said Germany is convinced that Russia, Iran and Turkey will not be able to resolve the conflict on the basis of the Astana process, unless Western countries are involved, TASS reported.

In addition, according to the official representative of the ministry, "Turkey's partnership with Russia and Iran in Syria, the talks in Astana and the fact that it happened without involving Europe and the US, is a cause for alarm."
