Glebova: political environment doesn't change foundations of Russian-Turkish relations

The Russian-Turkish Forum, which was scheduled for December, has been cancelled, the head of Rossotrudnichestvo and co-chair of the Russian-Turkish Forum, Lyubov Glebova, said.

"Public formats usually come after meetings of the heads of state, and such a forum was scheduled for December," she said, adding that the forum will take place after such a meeting takes place.

"However, this does not mean that we are stopping or reducing Russian-Turkish relations," Glebova stressed.

She stressed that "the political environment doesn't change the foundations of Russian-Turkish relations, which are traditionally stable and friendly."
