Georgia placed 108th among 189 world’s richest and the poorest countries in the world in 2016, surpassing only Armenia in the region, according to the monthly magazine Global Finance.
The publication made a list, based on the IMF data for per capita GDP. The dollar GDP estimates are adjusted for the purchasing power parity (PPP).
